The entirety of Jailer is on a timer.
During phase 1, we handle bombs and an alternation of draw-in-runaway, soaks, and LoS mechanics. We will stack at the center of three holes, marked with tank symbol, splitting only to handle Torment (a basic split mechanic).
Three players will be given bombs and those players will jump in one of the three holes around the stack position (so, one of three stars, then one of three triangles, and so on). These bombs will cause pillars to rise up out of the holes. We'll use a weakaura to time this correctly, and note you will be knocked out of the hole relative to your character facing. If you always enter the hole facing it from the stack position, you will never accidentally fuck up. It is possible to fuck up and get knocked to your death.
The jailer will first draw everyone in, and we will lock gate to the second position. After another round of bombs, he will channel an attack that must be LoSed using the pillars from the bomb or else you get mind controlled and we kill you to death. There will also be a tank combo going out at set intervals where we will need to stack up on the tank and pop personals to mitigate raid wide damage and also the soak damage.
In phase 2, we will stack around center. The center of the arena is a hole and you can fall and die. Don't fall and die. Only Torment repeats.
Torment will be upgraded and now echo after the initial cast, ideally we keep the boss' hitbox clear so there's a guaranteed safe space. Instead of bombs, but using a similar animation, two players will be marked with runes and, after a cast, be mind controlled to run off the edge. We swap to them and burst them down to save them.
Tanks, meanwhile, are handling a pillar/bomb mechanic that will necessitate a handful of pretty sizable repositions, but if executed correctly extend the phase pretty long. tl;dr pillars spawn first at green, then for each standing pillar the second time pillars spawn, a pillar will spawn at a yellow, and then at X and when a pillar reaches X, the phase ends. Tanks will handle this.
Phase 3 is ass. We tank jailer at edge to buy space for Defile and for Azeroth Soak. Periodically the Jailer will attempt to piss on the moon (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Lr9VuGZgmw), and we'll stack between him and Azeroth, which is the easiest part of the whole phase.
Torment is upgraded once again and now, after the echo, spawns shadow elements that all begin spam casting Absolutely Fuck the Raid the Fuck Up Fuck You. These need to all be interrupted and all killed ASAP. To aid with this, we want to stack torment together as tightly as possible without exploding the raid.
The Jailer will also cast Defile under the feet of a ranged or healer, so ranged and heals need to position in such a way as to bait this out--if stood on, defile spreads really slow I mean really fucking slow and then all of a sudden it goes really fast I mean really fucking fast and the entire arena is defiled and we wipe and we start this whole 12 minute fight over.
Instead of mind control, two players will get marked with runes and blue circles. Blue circles need to get into position without overlapping and we need to attempt to stack evenly in these circles. When cast, the blue circles apply a healing absorb shield to everyone in a circle which will need to be healed through or else people start getting perma mind controlled. Chances are we'll hit enrage and he will piss on the moon.
