What’s up, I’m Jimfro and this is the Ready Check Pull guide for Dausegne, the Fallen Oracle, Big shout out to our patreon supporters who help make these videos possible.
Dausegne is a single target fight with the occasional two target cleave, the boss signature mechanic revolves around the one to four rings that expand from the edges of the room, classes with blinks, teleports, and immunities will really appreciate those abilities during this fight.
Bloodlust can be used at any time or if you’re having trouble with the damage or healing check during the Inevitable Dominion cast.
Okay so, you’ll start by having the tanks pull the boss to the middle of the room, the boss will summon a Dominion Core, an add that needs to be picked up by the tanks, interrupted and cleaved down as fast as possible.
The add will spawn a few swirlies that do a bunch of damage to anyone standing in them, as well as leaving a pool on the ground that really hurts to walk through and since this fight has a lot of movement requirements, you’re gonna want as few of these pools as possible so kill the adds fast.
Dausegne will occasionally target a player and launch three orbs at them that do a ton of damage each. For the targeted player to survive, several other players will need to stand in line in front of the targeted player to help split the damage.
On heroic, you’ll get a debuff that increases the damage of the orbs by 500%, so definitely avoid soaking them twice in a row. Or if you have an immunity, just use that.
The boss also shoots a bunch of dark stuff in a cone. Yeah, don’t get hit by that.
For the tanks, this is a pretty simple to understand taunt swap. The boss puts a stacking debuff on the current tank that does DoT damage, and when it expires it does a blast that damages the entire raid, doing increasing damage the more stacks you have so basically just taunt swap whenever the previous debuff falls off.
At zero mana, the boss will teleport to a section of the platform, shield herself, and start casting Inevitable Dominion, which does a crap ton of damage every second to the entire raid and makes the pools on the ground grow larger over time.
So the raid will need to stack up on the boss and do big damage to the shield to break it, while the healers use every trick in the book to keep the raid healthy. Bloodlust could help here, but since you have to do this up to 4 times, you’ll need to find other ways to get more healing and damage.
So let's talk about these rings, the Disintegration Halos.
They spawn from the 4 reservoirs at the edge of the platform. You’ll get one ring at the start, and an additional ring after every Inevitable Dominion shield break thing.
If you pass through the ring you’ll take moderate damage and get a debuff on you that does small ticking damage but increases the damage you take from further rings by 500% so if you pass through another ring while you have this debuff…you’re dead.
Here’s an example of how you’d manage this. The boss will teleport to one of the reservoirs,
shield herself, and cast Inevitable Dominion. After you break the shield, you’ll instantly
position on to the first ring location, which you can spot by the dark pulsing matter around the reservoir.
The first ring will expand. The raid needs to then follow the edge of the first ring, in the opposite direction of the second ring.
The second ring expands. Wait for your debuff to fall off, and then pass through the second ring. Then do the same thing for the third ring and fourth and you’re good to go.
Now the difficulty ramps up when you are doing these rings while there are pools on the ground, the boss is casting the frontal cone, and with the add that needs to be nuked down, Of course, if you have blinks or immunities, you’ll have a way better time during all of this.
And that’s pretty much it!
Here’s a quick recap of the fight for you to review or screenshot for later.
