Loamm Niffen is a major faction in Patch 10.1 Embers of Neltherian. In this post, we will look at all the renowned rewards coming for this faction in the latest patch. There are 20 levels of renown for Loamm Niffen. To access it currently on the PTR, it's just on the Dragon Isle summary, and then you just scroll down and it's there. It's just a little scroll bar that they've added.
Let's take a look at some of the rewards:
Renown 1: Loam Niffen
This is the first renown level, and you will just find them.
Renown 2: Hidden Treasures
You may now sniff treasures hidden within the Zerilak Cavern.
Renown 3: Loam Bartering
Seek out Cayenne in Val Dragon to begin bartering and speak to Ponzo in Loam to trade.
Renown 4: Shadow Flame Crest and Flight Stones
You will get a Shadow Flame Crest, one of the upgrade items which can increase your item level of an upgradeable item to item level 424, and also Flight Stones which is another kind of item used to upgrade items.
Renown 5: Winding Slither Drake Customizations
You will get some manuscripts for your Winding Slither Drake, the fifth Dragon riding mount coming to the game in patch 10.1. You will get new customizations for it, including a grand chin horn, a large finned crest, and tan horns. These are available from the renown vendor in Loam.
Renown 6: Niffen Digging Mitts and Flight Stones
You will get the Niffen Digging Mitts, a half stone that you can use in the Zerilak Cavern to bring you back to Loam at any point. You will also get some more Flight Stones.
Renown 7: Snail Racing
Snail racing is a new activity in the Zerilak Cavern in the southernmost part of the Zone.
Renown 8: Gear
You will get an item level 405 item from the Renown vendor. This is upgradable once again through Flight Stones and through the Shadow Flame Crest and other items.
Renown 9: Mirror Infinity
This now helps you find additional items as well as sniff seeking.
Renown 10: Loam Niffen Tabard
At Renown 10, you will get the Loam Niffen tabard.
Renown 11: Niffen Wheelbarrow
You may acquire a Niffen Wheelbarrow from Harlow Mall in Loam.
Renown 12: Loam Bartering Battered and Crafter's Knowledge
You will get an upgrade to your previous bartering again, and also some Crafter's Knowledge.
Renown 13: Winding Slither Drake Customizations
You will get more upgrades to your Winding Slither Drake.
Renown 14: Gear
You will get a new item at item level 415, which is upgradable.
Renown 15: Meet The Beatles
You may acquire Paul and Ringo battle pets from the Renown vendor in Loam.
Renown 16: Black Dragons Cosmetics
This is the ornate black dragons labware ensemble.
Renown 17: More Bartering, Heavy Gift, and Flight Stones
You will get an upgrade to your bartering, a heavy gift, and of course some more Flight Stones.
Renown 18: Morsel Sniffer and Cosmetic Niffen Tools
You will get the Morsel Sniffer, a brand new mount that uses the Spore Bar rigging but this is one of the new creatures of the Zerilak Cavern. You will also get some cosmetic Niffen tools at Renown 18.
Renown 19: Drake Helm
Speak to Hollow Mile at Loam to unlock cosmetic Helms for your dragon riding mounts. This is a little bit broken at the moment on the PTR, but it will be unlocked for all of the Drakes.
Renown 20: Smelly Title and Enchanted Worm Shadow Flame Crest
You will show off your relationship with the Loam Niffen with the title "Smelly" that goes before your name. You will also get an Enchanted Worm Shadow Flame Crest, which is an optional reagent to increase your Crafter's items up to item level 437.
These are all the rewards available for the Loam Niffen in Patch 10.1 Embers of Nell Therian. It will be interesting to see how players respond to these rewards and how they will use them in their gameplay.
