Mythic Differences
At first glance, not much seems to have changed. Cagney's birdie birdie now spawns tiny birds that AOE surround and fixate players. They revive after a few seconds upon death, and the Big Bird will sometimes push everyone back, dealing a bit of damage. This will result in a lot of melee DPS getting blown off the ramparts. However, the Mythic part of this fight isn't really those extra mechanics; it's the ads. There are a lot of ads, and they are fearsome. Compared to heroic, you'll get way more ads, and more annoying spawn patterns. The ads themselves have all been eating their veggies and are now strong AF.
Magma Mystics
The magma Mystics have been especially beefed up and slightly reworked from heroic. This change is not Mythic only, but the ability to chain cast now increases the mystics' fire Damage Done by 25. This means 25 more damage per cast rather than just a dot, but it also hits both sides of the ramparts. So whenever there's one on each side, it really hurts. It's unclear if that's intended or if it's meant to be platform-wide. There could be a case for both, but it's a bit panic-inducing when nothing's happening on your platform, yet you're still dying.
Mythic Mechanic: The Birdies
For the birdies, which are the actual Mythic mechanic, half the time, I didn't even notice they were there. They'd reach melee, get instantly AOE down, and do nothing. Perhaps that's intended, so it's something that's only really punishing if you fall behind. Perhaps you're meant to have a ton of them up; otherwise, they'd need to be beefed up, and you'd probably knock back and root them or something instead to keep them away or Ring Of Peace knockback and Dot them down.
Strategy
Other than the above, it's pretty straightforward. AOE AOE AOE prior damage on magma Mystic when they spawn, AOE some more, otherwise cleave from boss if he's on your platform. Aim Guardian's beam away if you're the targeter, drop Spears a bit away from Raiden, and nuke forehead.
