Hello and welcome, everyone! Good morning. Today, I'll be guiding you through my initial Atlas setup for Path of Exile (PoE) 3.22. Although my recommendations are primarily tailored for the software trade league, much of the advice remains relevant even for other playstyles.
Atlas Progression: My Method
Remember, there are myriad ways to progress through your Atlas, so don't feel bound to one path.
Key Considerations:
- If you're aiming to speed through to tier 16 maps, typically you'd follow the wandering path and stack your adjacent map node. This ensures that clearing a T2 map drops a T3, and so on. However, I don't follow this approach as I'm not in a rush.
- The recent patch has brought about changes to the tree nodes. I'll start with the focused investigation to accumulate Jun missions, essential for unlocking our crafts. Some standout crafts include transforming physical damage into fire and lightning on your body armor and getting +1 gems on helmets and boots.
Betrayal Strategy: The Betrayal league is a fantastic source of early to mid-game experience. The key is to consistently opt for bribes. The more gear you unveil, the more crafts you unlock.
Map Sustain & Shrines: It's crucial to maintain a steady flow of maps. Shaping the mountains and other nodes aid in map sustainability. Additionally, shrines add to the game's enjoyment. There's a certain thrill in activating a shrine and watching the screen light up with your character's powers.
Expedition & Currency Generation: While Expeditions can disrupt the flow of party play, they're lucrative. Logbooks, in particular, are like gold in the early PoE league. Many players profit just by running or selling them. Additionally, the Expedition mechanic allows for specific targeting, like Tujen, to exchange Expedition currency for almost any other currency in the game.
Looking Forward
I'm eager to delve into Grand Design and explore more crafting options, meaning I'll be eyeing Harvest later on.
Closing Thoughts
There's an intriguing node named "All Hands." It’s been a topic of debate on my streams. It allows immediate interaction with a master mission rather than accumulation. But there's a catch - I believe it hinders the collection of Kirac missions, which I value. It's a choice each player will need to make based on their preferences.
Stay informed, make wise Atlas decisions, and enjoy your gaming!
