Wise Mari in the Fountain of the Everseeing
You are able to either go right side or left side whenever you start the dungeon. On the left side, you will find Wise Mari.
Notable Trash Mobs -On your way to the Fountain of the Everseeing, Fallen Waterspeaker will be in your way, casting Hydrolance on random players an deal moderate damage, but can be interrupted. -Tidal Burst deals heavy damage to all players within 60-yards, and must be interrupted to avoid the damage. -Corrupt Living Water will use Surging Deluge, creating a voidzone underneath a random player which has to be avoided.
Wise Mari
If you chose to go left side at the entrance, you will face Wise Mari as the first boss of the Temple of the Jade Serpent.
Notable Abilities -Water Bubble makes Wise Mari immun to attacks until you defeated four Corrupt Living Water -Wash Away is a frontal breath which knocks players away. The boss rotates in a circle consistently
Wise Mari Strategy and Abilities -Corrupted Geyser Frequently, the Water around Wise Mari are splashing up, and after 3 times, they cause a Corrupted Geyser, dealing heavy damage to players standing in the Water at that time. -Corrupted Vortex Wise Mari afflicts one random player with Corrupted Vortex. After 6 seconds, they take moderate damage and leave a Vortex on the floor. -Wash Away Wise Mari will turn himself around in circles, consistently casting Wash Away. This is the only Ability of Phase 2, so players only have to make sure to not step into the Water and walk in a circle around the Boss. -Hydrolance Hydrolance is the Tank-specific mechanic of this boss. Wise Mari will use Hydrolance to attack the Tank, dealing moderate damage, but can be interrupted
The Scrollkeeper’s Sanctum and Lorewalker Stonestep
Either after defeating Wise Mari, or you chose to go right side at the entrace first, you will face Lorewalker Stonestep as your next boss.
Notable Trash Mobs -Haunting Sha will direct a laser in the direction of the Tank which should be avoided by the other party members. It also using Haunting Scream, fearing all players for 6 seconds if not interrupted. -The Talking Fish deals damage to a random target with Bubble Spray. -The Songbird Queen will create a 5-yard circle around her, dealing damage with Territorial Display -The Golden Beetle uses Serrated Slash, dealing heavy Tank damage and leaving a bleeding debuff behind.
Lorewalker Stonestep
The boss in the eastern part of the Temple of the Jade Serpent is Lorewalker Stonestep.
Notable Abilities If Trial of the Yaungol is active, focus one enemy and switch to the other due to Intensity making them immun to damage taken. If Champion of the Five Suns is active, Sunfire Rays deal damage to random party members which deal heavy damage.
Lorewalker Stonestep Strategy and Abilities Every Dungeon run can differ which Event is going to be active on the Lorewalker Stonestep encounter. You either fight the Trial of the Yaungol, or The Champion of the Five Suns.
Trial of the Yaungol
When this Event is active, you will encounter Peril and Strife. These adds deal damage to random players with Agony. Whenever you attack them, they will gain a stack of Intensity. This will increase their damage done by 10% per stack. At 10 stacks, they become immun to all damaging effects for 15 seconds. Ignoring them will cause them to gain stacks of Dissipation, reducing their damage done by 10% per stack and causing them to not gain stacks of Intensity.
Champion of the Five Suns
If this Event is active, you will encounter four Sun‘s, which will attack random players with Sunfire Rays. These deal moderate fire damage. Whenever you defeat a Sun, it will spawn a Haunting Sha and leave a purple voidzone on the floor, dealing moderate periodic damage to players standing inside of it. They will also deal heavy Tank damage with Haunting Gaze, which can be avoided if Tanks make sure to kite them. As soon as you defeated all Sun’s, Zao Sunseeker becomes hostile and starts attacking random players with Hellfire Arrows. This deals moderate damage to a random player. As soon you defeated Zao, the Gates infront of you open and your way to the next boss is free.
Terrace of the Twin Dragons and Liu Flameheart
After defeating both bosses Wise Mari and Lorewalker Stonestep, the gates north after theboss room will open and allow you to travel to the Terrace of the Twin Dragons, and finally face Liu Flameheart.
Notable Trash Mobs In the Terrace of the Twin Dragons, you will encounter multiple Minion of Doubt. These will use Shattered Resolve, spawning an Orb on the floor which deals damage to players in its impact area. Haunting Sha will again direct a laser in the direction of the Tank which should be avoided by the other party members. It also using Haunting Scream, fearing all players for 6 seconds if not Sha-Touched Guardian use Leg Sweep, stunning all players within 6-yards, and cannot be interrupted, but stunned. Depraved Mistweaver uses Defiling Mist, surrounding the target while channeling, dealing damage which can be interrupted. She also afflicts a random player with Touch of Ruin, creating a circle around them and explode after 6 seconds to all players within 5- yards of the target player.
Liu Flameheart
The second to last Boss of Temple of the Jade Serpent is Liu Flameheart.
Notable Abilities Serpent Wave sends four Waves of fire, traveling in all four directions from the boss, and deals heavy damage to players struck. Jade Serpent Wave also sends four Waves away from the boss, but also leave pools of fire in their way Jade Fire deals heavy damage to a random player, and leaves a pool of fire on the floor
Liu Flameheart Strategy and Abilities Liu Flameheart is a 3-Phase Bossfight. At 70% health, she transforms herself into a Jade Serpent, empowering her abilities from Phase 1. At 30% health, she becomes invulnerable and Yu’lon spawns out of her, attacking random players. -Serpent Strike Serpent Strike deals heavy fire damage to the Tank and leaving a debuff on the Tank dealing periodic damage. Immediatly after Serpent Strike, she will use Serpent Kick, dealing damage to all players within 8-yards around her. In Phase 2, this Ability transforms into Jade Serpent Strike, working similar as Serpent Strike, but additional puts a heal absorb on the Tank. Jade Serpent Kick additionally knocks all players away in an 8-yard radius around her. -Serpent Wave After Serpent Kick, Liu Flameheart will send forth four waves of fire in all four directions around her. This deals heavy damage to players if hit. -Jade Serpent Wave Jade Serpent Wave is the Phase 2 ability of Serpent Wave, but leaving additional fire patches on the floor. This deals periodic damage to players standing inside of it. -Jade Fire Whenever Liu reaches 30% health, she becomes invulnerable and spawns Yu’lon to fight for her. Yu’lon will attack random players with Jade Fire, dealing moderate damage to random players, and leaving a voidzone on the floor that has to be stepped out. You dont have to worry about other abilities appearing anymore. -Jade Fire Breath Jade Fire Breath is a frontal breath in the direction of a random player, dealing heavy damage to players struck.
The Heart of Jade and Sha of Doubt
After defeating Liu Flameheart, it’s just a few enemies between you and the final boss of Temple of the Jade Serpent – Sha of Doubt.
Notable Trash Mobs As soon as the gates to Sha of Doubt open, you will be greeted by again a Depraved Mistweaver (afflicts random player with Touch of Ruin), Sha-Touched Guardian (using Leg Sweep) and Fallen Waterspeaker (Interrupt Tidal Burst). Keep their abilities in mind which you need to avoid. Sha-Touched Guardian use Leg Sweep, stunning all players within 6-yards, and cannot be interrupted, but stunned. Depraved Mistweaver uses Defiling Mist, surrounding the target while channeling, dealing damage which can be interrupted.
Sha of Doubt
Last Boss of Temple of the Jade Serpent is Sha of Doubt.
Notable Abilities -Figment of Doubt spawns an Add out of every player, fixating them, dealing moderate damage and healing Sha of Doubt by 10% if not killed quickly. -Touch of Nothingness applies to a random players, dealing periodic damage to themself and nearby players.
Sha of Doubt Strategy and Abilities -Wither Will Sha of Doubt will cast Wither Will to two random players, dealing moderate damage that has to be compensated by the Healer. -Touch of Nothingness When a player is affected by Touch of Nothingness, he will take periodic damage every 2 seconds, and also deals that damage to nearby players in a 5-yards radius. This spell can be despelled by the Healer. -Figment of Doubt Every player will spawn a Figment of Doubt, while the Sha of Doubt becomes invulnerable during that time. Players have 20 seconds to defeat all Figments, otherwise the Boss will heal himself by 10% and the Figment explodes with Gathering Doubt for heavy damage. We advise every player to stack up while they are fixated by their Figment, and then use Crowd Control to maximize their damage output on all Adds.
